Learn Annie’s unique method of painting alla prima with oils and knives!

Looking for a unique art class in the Wilmington, NC area? Join us for an afternoon of oil painting with palette knives. In this 3 hour workshop you will learn Impressionist Annie Ingram's methods for color mixing using a limited palette, how to paint alla prima with knives, and learn your own method for using the knives to create movement and texture in your oil painting.

Annie will share a bit of her story and artistic process before guiding you step by step through color mixing, texture techniques, and expressive strokes. By the end of the class, you’ll have your own 8” x 10” coastal-inspired painting to take home!

No experience? No problem! This class is designed for beginners and intermediate painters, offering a fun, judgment-free space to explore oil painting while enjoying the beautiful artistic surroundings at the gallery.
